The 2025 edition of the National Iranian Othello Championship was successfully held on May 1st and 2nd, 2025 (equivalent to 10th and 11th Ordibehesht 1404 in the Iranian calendar) in Rafsanjan , a city in Kerman Province, Iran . The event took place at the Dopamin Game Hall , located within the Khoshgedeh Agah Cultural and Sports Complex .

A total of 23 players participated in the championship, including 12 players under the age of 18 , showcasing the growing interest and development of Othello among younger players in Iran. After the Swiss rounds, three players – Mohammad Zamanzadeh , Amin Pour Hamzeh Asl , and Mohsen Karamad – were tied for the fourth position. To resolve this, a special ranking pool was conducted between them. Following three additional matches, Mohammad Zamanzadeh emerged as the fourth semifinalist.
